Why families choose Connect
Excellence With A Purpose
We honor traditional education — a real foundation in reading, writing, math, and work ethic — and then we take learning out into the city that surrounds us.
🏙
The city is the campus
Parks, museums, public spaces, and local businesses become classrooms. Students work alongside adults in the real world, not just read about it.
👥
Known by name
Multiage classrooms and a small, steady community mean your child is recognized, challenged, and supported by teachers who know them well.
🎓
Tuition‑free, always
Connect is a public charter school. No tuition, no application fee — just a place where families who want more from middle school can find it.
📚

“
I have been in education for 28 years, and I am frustrated daily with continuous distractions and disruptions. I feel so lucky to have my son at Connect. I know there are very few distractions here. The rules and guidelines used at Connect make this possible. I applaud the administration and staff for a job done right.
A proud parent of a Connect student
“
By far the best school in Pueblo. I was lucky enough to attend and still cherish those days some 20+ years later. I attended Connect for middle school, and it helped prepare me for college and the real world far more than most anything else did, including high school.

Questions parents ask us
Is Connect really tuition‑free?
Yes. Connect is a public charter school, so there is no tuition and no application fee. Families are sometimes surprised by that, because the programming looks like what you would expect from a private school.
What grades do you serve?
We serve grades 6, 7, and 8 — the middle school years. Our whole program is built for that age group rather than bolted onto a K–12 school.
Do we have to live in a particular neighborhood?
No. Families come to us from across Pueblo. Reach out through the form above and we will walk you through how enrollment works for your situation.
What does “City as Campus” actually mean day to day?
It means students regularly leave the building to learn. They work on civic and service projects, study history where it happened, use downtown spaces and businesses as part of the curriculum, and interact with adults in an adult environment. As one local business owner put it, our students bring life to the center of Pueblo.
How do I see the school before deciding?
Book a tour. You will meet our team, walk the building, and see classes in progress. Most parents tell us the visit is what made the decision easy.
